New for Autumn 2026 - a six week Introductory to Floristry Course.
Have you ever wanted to take your flower arranging skills one step further—or perhaps you’ve been considering a career change, and floristry is something you've always dreamed of exploring?
I love teaching my Introduction to Floristry courses, and so I’m delighted to announce another course starting in October 2026, running on a Friday morning for six weeks at my Seaside classroom in Hill Head.
We will explore six key designs from a professional florist’s portfolio, including a design using chicken wire. This course is perfect for those who want to recreate beautiful arrangements at home—for yourself, friends, or family. There’s nothing more rewarding than crafting a floral design to give as a gift. And this course includes two Christmas designs - perfect to get you in the festive spirit.
The course will run for 6 weeks, and the dates are:
Dates: Friday 16th October - Posy Design
Friday 23rd October - Linear Arrangement
Friday 30th October - Chicken wire design
Week break
Friday 13th November - Hand tied in water
Friday 20th November - Festive Oval Table Centre (or for your Mantel)
Friday 27th November - Celebration Advent Ring (or Door wreath)
I will also show how you to make two styles of buttonholes on the weeks we finish a little earlier.
Time - 10am to 12.30pm approx (we may run over slightly on some days)
Venue: Seaside classroom, Flat 3, 39 Hill Head Road. PO14 3JJ
Investment: £385 (£50 deposit to reserve your space, full payment one month before start date)
Includes complimentary floristry scissors and knife, folder and handouts plus a Certificate of Participation on completion.
Balance can be paid in instalments. Just let me know if this is how you would like to pay.
There are four spaces available in the morning class, making it ideal if you prefer a smaller group with more one-to-one guidance. Please let me know if you’re a complete beginner—this course is perfectly suited to you—or if you already have some experience and would like to refresh your skills. It’s a wonderful way to begin or continue your floral journey.
I hope to welcome you soon.
Best wishes
